This year’s conference will take place May 8-10 in Savannah, Ga. at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. Sessions will lead off with a Washington Update: “Competitiveness of the U.S. Sewn Products Sector,” from the U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration.
Guy Carpenter, President of Horizon Hemp (a part of Bear Fiber, Inc.), “An Overview of Hemp Production and Markets: Farm-Fiber-Fabric-Fashion.” This presentation will provide an overview of the exploding hemp industry while focusing on industry specific fiber, yarn, textile and apparel production.
